WAECO cooking segment: Shauno and Justin making bush rib-eye roast

Ingredients

  • 1 rib-eye Roast
  • All-purpose seasoning
  • Dash of olive oil
  • Garlic cloves
  • Your choice of vegetables.

Method

  1. Make a few small incisions into the roast.
  2. Sprinkle all-purpose seasoning and a dash of olive oil over rib-eye.
  3. Massage the oil and seasoning into the roast.
  4. Push the garlic into the incisions cut previously.
  5. Place the roast in a camp oven, on a bed of coals for approximately two hours.
  6. Cut up your choice of vegetables and put them into another cooker with oil.
  7. Sprinkle all-purpose seasoning and a quick toss around.
  8. Leave the vegies on the coals for approximately 45 minutes.
  9. Cut up roast, serve with vegies and ENJOY!
