Distance Selling Terms and Conditions



These Distance Selling Terms and Conditions shall apply to all transactions related to the sale of goods or services where the contract was made exclusively by means of distance communication. This includes all contracts made, without the simultaneous physical presence of the parties, using modern means of communication, e.g. letters, catalogues, telephone, telecopy, fax, internet or e-mail as well as via radio, television and media services. The Distance Selling Terms & Conditions shall, in case of contracts with consumers, apply in addition to our Terms & Conditions of Sale.

The company is registered in the Commercial Registry of the Steinfurt Local District Court under registration number HRB 3716.


Significant features of the goods or services are specified in the individual product information included in our online catalogue or the printed catalogue version.


Our offers are subject to change; this also means we shall not be obliged to deliver in the event of non-availability of the goods or services. For your satisfaction we reserve the right to provide you with a good or service equivalent in quality and value.


Unless explicitly stated, all prices quoted are retail prices including statutory value-added tax.


Delivery and despatch costs are not included in the prices quoted. Please note that we raise an additional charge of  € 4.10 for cash-on-delivery shipments. This additional charge shall not apply when an advance payment has been made.


For payment, delivery and fulfilment please refer to our General Terms & Conditions. We provide a six-month guarantee on all products. 


Customer satisfaction is of key importance to us. The right to cancel and return mainly serves to protect you from unwanted shipments or goods that do not fully satisfy your expectations. Therefore, you are no longer bound to your order if you cancel the order within a period of two weeks of the date you received the first shipment. The cancellation request must be submitted in writing or on a permanent data storage medium. You are not required to give reasons for the cancellation. Timely shipment of the cancellation request is sufficient to meet the cancellation deadline. Please use the following address for you cancellation requests:

Upon receipt of the cancellation we are obliged to refund the payment made. In case of orders worth EUR 40.00 or more, you are entitled to return the goods to us at our expense and risk. The buyer shall however be liable for intent and negligence with regard to the return. In the event of liability on the buyer’s part, return costs may be charged from the buyer.

The right to cancel shall not apply to goods and services made to customer specifications or clearly customised to the buyer’s personal requirements, or to goods and services that are – due to their nature – unsuitable to be returned.


A compensation payment shall be made for the transfer or use of a good or service until the time of cancellation. The right to compensation payment does not result from the exercise of the cancellation right but from the fact that the good or service has been received and/or used. Additional compensation claims may arise in the event of damage to or destruction of the goods.


Legal venue / applicable law
All contracts concluded under our Terms & Conditions of Sale and the above Distance Selling Terms & Conditions shall be subject to German law. For all disputes arising from contracts under these terms and conditions, the legal venue of Dometic WAECO International GmbH, Emsdetten shall be used.
