Insights and images of the WAECO world

Images of an eventful company history: impressive photos enabling the viewer to share the rapid development of WAECO International GmbH. Travelling in time, you are invited to disclose and discover, remember and reminisce …

In 1974,  it revolutionised life on board of yachts: WAECO’s fridge, model CK-62.

The former company head office in Emsdetten.

Like at the „Hanseboot“ Fair in Hamburg in1980, WAECO has always staked on top technology.

Ever since 1981, WAECO has proven a dependable and welcome companion in cars: Europe’s Number 1 supplier of retrofit automotive air conditioners improves travelling safety and comfort.

Even in the early eighties, private and professional drivers did not want to go without pleasantly cool drinks. The successful TROPICOOL series has remained a hit all along and continues to serve a multitude of purposes.

Highlighting the occasion: like at the “IAA 1987” in Frankfurt/Main, WAECO International GmbH attracts mobile and active people at any trade fair.

A genuine eye-catcher: today it is not only 1993’s coolbox range that catches attention …

Cool: even before 2001, picnickers have sworn by cool companions made by WAECO.

Inaugurated in the millennium year, the new company headquarters in Emsdetten unites everything under one roof: head office, logistics, and production.

It soon became a cult object: the MyFridge MF-15 miniature fridge featuring the popular retro look.

The Maybach board bar – pure luxury, yet WAECO retrofits make the comfort of luxury cars available at budget price.

A cute reminder: Eddy,  WAECO’s popular polar bear, recommends regular check-ups of your vehicle air conditioner by the expert.
