Long awaited – here it is: the specialists from Dometic and Dometic Seitz have pooled their expertise and innovative verve to present a unique combination of a roof air conditioner and a rooflight. From now on camping enthusiasts will no longer have to decide between cool comfort or daylight. Because the new Dometic FreshLight offers all the benefits of an efficient air conditioner and a rooflight – plus many details for extra convenience.
Dometic FreshLight is a patent-pending solution that gives a clear outlook in all situations of mobile life. Moreover, it provides complete 5-star comfort in at least five ways: it brings natural daylight into motorhomes or caravans, creates a comfortable breeze inside at a cool 2200 watts in capacity, it will heat as well in spring and autumn with its powerful 2800-watt heat pump, incorporates an active ventilation system and, last but not least, adds a soft ambience light for atmospheric hours at night time.
On top of that, the innovative Dometic FreshLight features an individually adjustable air diffuser system with automatic blower control that is exceptionally quiet in operation. On-board comfort is further enhanced by a timer, a night-time mode and an easy-to-use pleated blind – so life on the move can be enjoyed to the full, in all moods and at any time of day.
Despite all the high-tech details inside, Dometic FreshLight excels with a flat and aerodynamic build that will hardly affect the vehicle’s road behaviour. Its ability to adjust to any roof thickness between 30 and 70 millimetres ensures neat installation results for nearly all types of vehicles.
The new-generation comfort roof air conditioner was principally designed for stationary use on a 230-volt mains supply, but it can also be fitted for mobile use by adding a matching DC kit. Its comfort functions are easy to adjust by remote control. Dometic FreshLight is designed for vehicles up to seven metres long and up to 28 cubic metres in capacity.
