You can choose between two system solutions: the CoolAir CA 850S roof air conditioner and the CoolAir SP 950 split system. All two come with vehiclespecific installation fittings and have been especially designed for stationary operation in trucks – not as a substitute but to complement the factoryfitted air conditioner. Taking over where the vehicle A/C has left off, they maintain a pleasant temperature inside the cabin and, what’s more, dehumidify the air. They prevent excessive heatup during the day, and create an optimal sleeping temperature at night time.

		Elegant design – as if cast from one mould! The flat, streamlined contours of the roof units blend harmoniously with the design of modern-day truck cabins. The vehicle-specific cover frame flows seamlessly into the roof lining.

		Well proven CoolAir technology! The compressor powered refrigeration system creates a pleasant temperature and simultaneously dehumidifies the air in the cabin. An advantage over evaporation systems is that the compressor gives full performance even at higher air humidity. CoolAir stationary air conditioners work with the engine turned off, with energy from the vehicle battery. The automatic low-voltage protection maintains the battery’s starting ability.

		CoolAir installation concept – no drilling, no cutting! The base of the preassembled roof unit includes the hole patterns of all common types of trucks. Just insert the unit, wire it up, attach the cover frame and you’re done! The clever installation concept is used for the CoolAir CA 850S self-contained air conditioner as well as for the roof evaporator unit of the CoolAir SP 950 split system. Likewise, the condenser unit of the SP 950 can be installed without drilling a single hole. The vehiclespecific fastening frames have exactly the same hole pattern as the rear wall of the driver’s cab they are made for.

		First-class operating comfort! Temperature and air flow are easy to adjust – by touching a button on the self-explanatory control panel, or conveniently from the driver’s bed, by remote control. The four air nozzles are continuously variable in direction and tilt. The sleep timer switches the unit into the battery-saving standby mode at the desired time.

		Genuine performance according to ISO 5151! Dometic WAECO tests stationary air conditioners on its own test benches, at an ambient temperature of 43°C – exactly the way it is stipulated in international standard ISO 5151. Keep this in mind when comparing the performance with competitors’ products!

		Approved quality! CoolAir CA 850S and CoolAir SP 950: Vibration test and crash test according to the standards of utility vehicle manufacturers, Type approval from the German Federal Office for Motor Vehicles (KBA)

		ADR-compliant! The European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR for short) contains special provisions as to the security of load, the marking of dangerous goods and the equipment of vehicles participating in road transport. TÜV-approved security: TÜV Rheinland confirms that the WAECO CoolAir CA 850S is ADR-compliant. The air conditioner can be installed and operated with no further refitting and no special entry in the vehicle documents required. In other words: ADR-compliant use of the WAECO CoolAir CA 850S is just as easy and hasslefree as the installation of the unit!

		It couldn’t be easier: insert the roof unit, wire it up, attach the cover frame, that’s all. You’ll get a neat finish, inside and out. All of this without having to drill a single extra hole. The base of the preassembled unit includes the hole patterns of all common types of trucks. The slimline body of the CA 850S gives a maximum height from the roof top of just 187 mm, which makes it suitable for many truck cabins.

		The well-planned CoolAir installation concept is used for the CA 850S roof air conditioner as well as for the roof evaporator unit of the SP 950 split air conditioner.
