Taking highly perishable goods safely from one place to another – no problem with WAECO Mobile Refrigeration. Our portable coolers have stood and passed the test of practice millions of times. To meet your demanding logistic needs they are fitted with special, high-performance electronics. Whatever it is you are transporting – medicines, blood donations, lab samples, doses of semen, perishable food – put your trust in WAECO’s one-degree accuracy.
Thermoelectric coolers – precision work from +1°C to +65°C
Lightweight, low-priced, versatile – these are the hallmarks of thermoelectric refrigeration. The wear-free technology is great for low-capacity heating or cooling of small to medium-sized spaces. It is based on the thermoelectric principle, which states that heat or cold is generated when the connection between different metals is linked to a direct current power source (Peltier effect). The TropiCool standard range gives you a choice of four sizes ranging from a compact 7-litre cooler to a spacious 35-litre appliance.
Compressor coolers – powerful performance from -18°C to +10°C
Excellent cooling performance from -18°C to + 10°C, low energy consumption, ultra-quiet running – features you can depend on with each WAECO compressor appliance. Its technological heart is a power pack that goes a long way and drives the refrigerant circuit at the same time: the Danfoss BDF compressor, result of the cooperation between Danfoss, world-leading compressor manufacturer, and WAECO as the largest European user. The CoolFreeze standard programme gives you a choice of seven different-sized models – from the compact 18-litre box right through to the spacious 106-litre cooling container.
Approved quality: The CoolFreeze CF-50 compressor cooler has been awarded the quality seal of Germany's Federal Association of Food Inspectors (BLVK). This is yet another confirmation of WAECO products' reliability and performance.
Heavy-duty cooling containers – professional refrigeration management from -24°C to +50°C
A powerful piece of WAECO: the CoolFreeze heavy-duty range provides robust solutions for many logistic tasks: compact cooling and heating containers for catering, laboratory and medical use, cooling containers for catering and fresh food delivery service, and voluminous transport containers in gross capacities from 300 to 500 litres. The comprehensive product line covers a temperature range from –24°C to +50°C.
The right temperature – the key to your success
“Cool” is a relative term. Depending on the outside temperature and transported items, it may cover temperatures between –18°C and +40°C. It all depends on what freight you have loaded – lab samples or organs for transplants, blood donations or blood platelets, insulin or dialysis products. Correct storage at the right temperature is the key to success for each temperature-sensitive product. You know the right temperature for your product. WAECO sets up the cooler to match. The temperature is preset at our factory and kept constant at a maximum deviation of ± 2°C – or even less if required. Of course we can also preset two different fixed values, or leave the temperature adjustment in your hands. We can also install a heater with three-point controller for additional safety …
HACCP – WAECO closes the refrigeration chain
HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points, an internationally binding quality management system for food products. The principle behind is that all critical points in the delivery chain – from the stable to the table – are closely examined on the spot. For all critical points, limiting values are defined and then continuously checked and documented. Critical risks are always involved when perishable food is exposed to high temperatures, e.g. while shopping or delivering to a customer. Investing in a refrigerated truck is not always financially viable. Why not save money and gain flexibility with a portable cooler from WAECO?

Good reasons for HACCP
- More quality: safe and healthy food
- More profit: better process management
- Satisfied customers
- Prevention of legal risks and damage to your reputation
A profitable business HACCP not only gives you satisfied customers, it also boosts your profits. Success is in the system: implementing a HACCP concept means checking and revising all in-house processes. Even though potential health risks for consumers are the decisive criteria, the inspection will also reveal other shortcomings. The outcome: streamlined processes, minimised losses, optimum use of resources.
