Dometic’s new 5-series refrigerators are now available for retrofitting in specialist stores. The successors of the proven 4-series come with contemporary looks and an LED illuminated interior as standard. Other technical improvements include a battery-powered ignition system and thermostat regulation in gas as well as in 230-volt mode. Just like their predecessors the “new classics” are perfectly tailored to the available space in smaller recreational vehicles, with ample storage room inside. A new standard for absorption refrigerators

8-series once for all replaces 7-series fridge generation

Caravans Salon 2011 marks the end of the Dometic 7-series. From now on the Dometic factory in Siegen, Germany, will only produce the 8-series refrigerator models which were introduced in 2006. 5-series replaces 4-series

Starting from this summer the Dometic RM 5xxx series will replace the Dometic RM 4xxx series. Well proven features have been retained for the customers. Many of them will appreciate the fact that the new fridges have the same cabinet dimensions, which ensures a smooth changeover  to the 5-series. The interior has changed a great deal, however.
