Then it’s easy and cost-efficient for you to get a fullyfledged reversing video system. All you have to do is connect a WAECO PerfectView rear-view camera to the monitor of your navigation system. Matching adapter cables are available as optional accessories. All camera kits are supplied complete with adapter cables.

Preconditions for connecting a rear-view camera

Navigation systems PREPARED for video applications ...
... generally have a cinch / RCA socket as video input (A/V or AUX). WAECO PerfectView cameras – fitted with a connection box or adapter – can be directly connected to these systems.

Navigation systems NOT PREPARED for video applications ...
... can only be upgraded with a rear-view camera if the manufacturer of the navigation system offers a matching video converter.

Things to consider before buying a camera: Is the monitor of your navigation system able to produce a mirrored view of the picture? Important note: Only a mirrored monitor picture will be useful for reversing, because it gives you the familiar rear-view-mirror view. WAECO PerfectView cameras come with factorypreset mirrored picture function. Does the monitor recognise NTSC and PAL video formats? WAECO PerfectView cameras are suitable e.g. for navigation systems from Kenwood, Panasonic and Pioneer.
