Truck split air conditioner for tricky mounting conditions
The number of WAECO roof air conditioners to be seen on Europe’s roads is constantly increasing. Even so, some truck drivers have had to go without the comforts stationary air conditioning provides, because their cabin is too tall, or fitted with a spoiler or roofmounted structure until now. For those tricky conditions we have designed the split air conditioner, WAECO CoolAir SP 950.
As the name suggests, it consists of two split components that are fitted separately – the evaporator unit on the roof, the condenser unit to the rear wall of the cabin. |

- Superflat roof evaporator unit
- ADR-compliant for all classes except EX/II, EX/III. OX only when WAECO fastening frames are used (see certificate here).
- Ideal for trucks with tall cabin, spoiler or roofmounted structure
- Can be fitted underneath the spoiler (e.g. MAN TGS/TGX XLX)
- Roofmounted evaporator: pleasant cooling from above

Flat and compact like no other:
With a mounted height of just 58 mm the roof evaporator unit of the CoolAir SP 950 fits under spoilers and roofmounted structures with ease. Even on very tall truck cabins there’s still “headroom” until the maximum permissible vehicle height is reached.
