Under-bench and roof air conditioners from a single source
Dometic and WAECO pooled their air conditioning expertise at the beginning of this year. As a result, the group now offers a complete range that includes high-quality air conditioners for roof mounting as well as for installation inside the vehicle. Customers can choose the climate control system to suit their vehicle and their personal idea of comfort. The ultra-compact Dometic CA1000 compressor roof air conditioners, three powerful standard-size systems and the newly developed Dometic HB2500 under-bench air conditioner are from now on available from a single source.
With the HB2500, Dometic GROUP presents the world's first under-bench air conditioner with genuine heating function. Featuring a heat pump the air conditioner provides a heating capacity up to 3000 watts. Regardless of whether it is tropically hot or unpleasantly cold outside, the HB2500 maintains a perfect climate inside the vehicle. It purifies and dehumidifies the air, cools or warms it as required. Variable air outlets, which can be individually adapted to the vehicle, provide fast and even air distribution to quickly achieve the desired temperature. A new-generation ventilator and the special housing design account for superbly quiet and energy-saving operation. All functions, including night-time control and time programming, can be comfortably set by remote control. Additional benefits of the Dometic HB2500 under-bench air conditioner are that the vehicle's outer dimensions, its centre of gravity and its roof window remain unaffected.
All air conditioners produced by the Dometic and WAECO specialists are designed for 230-volt operation. Using the newly developed DC kits, they can also be run while driving. There's a matching DC kit for all Dometic air conditioner models. Comfort units with an extra AC output for operation of sensitive electric consumers, such as laptop computers or espresso machines, are also available on request.
