WAECO PerfectView NAV: especially for recreational vehicles
Navigation, rear-view camera and entertainment all in one
Automotive accessory specialist Dometic WAECO now presents the perfect symbiosis of reliable navigation, safe reversing, communication and entertainment: the new WAECO PerfectView NAV series combines excellent quality with ease of use and individual system configuration. In cooperation with Blaupunkt, experts in car audio systems, WAECO engineers have created four systems geared to the specific requirements of motorhome and caravan enthusiasts. These systems take individual vehicle parameters (such as length, height and width) into account when calculating the route.
Moreover, WAECO PerfectView NAV systems offer a host of convenience features. A 6.2-inch touch-screen display, up-to-date map material for the whole of Europe, TMC function to bypass traffic jams, DVD/CD player, RDS car radio with ample features and 4 x 50 watts output, traffic message channel and ratio text, Bluetooth interface, automatic smart phone control, slots for USB sticks and memory cards up to 32 gigabytes as well as an extra audio/video input qualify the system as a perfect “command centre” for all communication and entertainment tasks. A definite highlight of the system is the integrated motorhome parking database, which provides a host of campsite information in addition to the usual route guidance function.
The sets also include high-quality WAECO camera systems, which transmit their images directly to the large display of the navigation system while reversing. Customers can choose from four systems to suit different requirements and types of vehicles. WAECO PerfectView NAV 750 combines the navigation system with the well-proven wide-angle colour camera CAM 50C. WAECO PerfectView NAV 780 comes with the shutter camera CAM 80CM, which features an automatic, motor-operated protective cover that prevents soiling of the camera lens.
Professional demands are met by WAECO PerfectView NAV 744, a complete set incorporating the smallest colour twin camera with shutter available on the market, with an extra-wide picture angle. The system’s twin camera, CAM 44, offers a double benefit: While reversing, it perfectly displays the area close behind the vehicle. When driving forward, the second lens provides long-range vision far beyond the vehicle to monitor the traffic situation. The forth complete system, WAECO PerfectView NAV 560, was specifically designed for the best-selling camper van base vehicle, Fiat Ducato X 250. This system is based on the colour cylinder camera CAM 16BK, which features an extra-large picture angle of 150 degrees and is enclosed in a custom-built console that blends harmoniously with the vehicle design.
All four systems are supplied complete with accessories for installation and electrical connections.
