The module “translates” the digital CAN bus signals into analogue impulses and transmits them to the retrofitted accessory.

The WAECO CAN bus interface is suitable for use with many WAECO comfort and safety accessories. It can also be used for similar products of other makes, because most of them will require an analogue speed or rev signal.

The WAECO interface also paves the way for built-in navigations systems. Many of these systems require the handbrake signal because they must not be operated while driving.
