Software updates for ASC service units

Keep your ASC service unit
up to date!

Since many years, our ASC service units and their customized variants are equipped with a USB connection. Thus, the system software can simply be updated with a USB stick. The upate file contains the newest firmware for our service units as well as a basic database with common vehicle types and corresponding filling quantities.

Here is how to:

• Download the zip file using the link below.
• Unzip it and copy the contained .wuf file to a FAT32 formatted USB stick.
• Insert the USB stick in the USB port. You find the USB port on the upper left of the panel like shown.
• Switch on the device.
• The station will scan the USB stick for a later version. If the software on the USB stick is more up-to-date, the following menu is displayed:

• If the database on the USB stick is more up-to-date, the following menu is displayed, where the current version is displayed in black on the bottom line:

• Press ENTER to update the software or database.
• The station shows the progress of the update:

• After the update, the station sets the default settings:

• The station then restarts and the standby menu appears.
• Remove the USB stick.
• The station is ready for operation.

PLEASE NOTE: After running an update on a service unit, the data on the USB stick will be unusable to execute another update on a further service unit.
