With the ASC 5500RPA Low Emission, Dometic WAECO offers a fully automatic unit for service on R 1234yf A/C systems, it is designed to meet the highest demands on operating safety and economy.
The concept was developed in cooperation with TÜV Rheinland and the working group of German vehicle manufacturers. Well thought-out safety features ensure the process safety necessary for dealing with the new R 1234yf refrigerant. An integrated analysis module checks the refrigerant purity prior to recovery. During an automatic pressure test all internal components are inspected for tightness before service work starts. A switch-on delay, combined with an external ventilation system, makes sure there is no flammable mixture in the service unit.
