It does not necessarily have to be a dedicated CO₂ air conditioning service unit: With the new CO₂ upgrade kit from WAECO, any current WAECO air conditioning service unit can be adapted for servicing R744 air conditioning systems in just a few simple steps. The core component is a 4-way precision fitting manifold made of titanium, complete with pressure gauges and high-quality service hoses that can withstand an operating pressure of 120 - 140 bar. The set also includes a maintenance-free refrigerant scale. Fittings, hoses and service couplings are stored in a handy workshop case to save space.
